Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Well, schools back, even the return of the most depressing person I know back to the school it doesnt dampen the good mood Im feeling. Myabe it's the fact Im getting along with people better now then I ever though I would. Maybe it's my friends chilling out for once. Maybe it's the Year 12 room. Either way, life is lonely, but life quite like Don's meats, is good :D

Music Blog 1

Christ I havent been on this for awhile. I havent had any real motivation too. And I guess Im gonna blog about the only good thing in my life that isnt my friends or family.... music

The bands/artists who have changed my life as I know it
Red Hot Chilli Peppers (the classic band for me, the one that has outlasted all fads and music tastes)

Metallica (introduced me to the wonderful music that is metal)

Cold Chisel (the first band that I actually learnt all the words to one of their songs)

U2 (the first band I ever saw live)

Nirvana (The first band I ever actually idolised more then Red Hot Chilli Peppers)

Radiohead (the first band to ever perfectly sum up how I have felt at a particular time)

Rap Music from the late 80s to early 90's (restored my faith in the genre after I realised that 21st century gangsta rappers were fucking posers)

Soundtrack to GTA SA (introduced me to some of the best bands/artists ever Alice In Chains, NWA, Stone Temple Pilots, Faith No More, Dr Dre the list goes on and on)

Sex Pistols (for introducing me to punk)

Public Enemy (for fully making me appreciate DJ's, sampling and how much word used to go into rap before it turned into shit beat+sexist lyrics x bullshit artistry by some random tosser)

and Nine Inch Nails+Linkin Park (for making me appreciate electronics and industrial music)

Game Reviews 1 Red Dead Redemption

Red Dead Redemption
The more elitist gamers threw their hands up in the air and howled at the moon when they realised Rockstar was trying to create a new franchise. I guess they still had a bad hangover from the dissapointing GTA4. Well, in all honesty, they still might need a good strong drink after playing Red Dead. While the storyline is stronger then any GTA outing, the gameplay is worse then Rockstars PS2 releases, including Bully and The Warriors. The controls are clunky, worse then GTA 4, the map while detailed is puny compared to what I expected and the ending is partly good partly bad. The game overall isnt a failure. The characters are brilliantly written, the side-missions, mini games and actual shooting mechanics are great too. The massive flaws with AI and gameplay do over-ride the good work done by Rockstar, but this is a mature step forward for the game company which is used to taking the piss of themselves and others for years. With 5 million copies sold in 3 weeks it will have a sequel sonner or later. Lets hope they improve the overall gameplay. To sum it up in approiate terms
The Good
Characters
Story
Weapons and Gunplay
Detail of land

The Bad
Size of map
Dodgy AI
Repitive missions

The Ugly
The overall gameplay
Glitches

Rating
3/5

Out of the Frying Pan.... Into The Fire

Now my dad is out of hospital and over upsetting my mum and I by being a tool I guess now its time for the last week of the semester. Will the return of the gumbaticken bring more stress and anger to me? I cant understand what the fuck is wrong with women in general, after being in this group of friends for as long as I have I understand why people would be misogynistic. Sigh. It doesnt matter. I just hope no-one pisses me off to much over the next week or I will seriously have a good yellin sess.

Learning My Lesson

I honestly hope I've learnt my lesson. It seems nothing is quite holy in this modern wasteland. As Bob Dylan once prophesised, "They're selling postcards of the hanging, they're painting the passports brown, and the beauty parlours are filled with sailors, the circus is in town". There was once a man, his name was Jules, better known as Julius. He got stabbed in the back. Same. If an honest conversation between me and my parents cant stay where it was being fucking said then what the hell am i gonna do? And to answer the question of some people, yeah I talk to my parents a lot. Im not the average dickweed depressed egotistical Sylvia Plath bitches like you, I like my family. Sure I argue with em but I like them. So fuck you. And another thing, after recieving so much bitching about some people (enough that could fill a book three times the size of The Divine Comedia (lol) you run off and tell them what I said? Hahaha yeah, very nice. I hearby swear I only trust Austen Dupleix and Anthony Cole in this world of mine. Forget you and your indiscretions. I'll be your friend but dont expect me to ever be anything more.

Life (As I Know It)

Ahh, Life has been pretty good lately excluding work output and upcoming exams (or tests fuck me decide on a name people). The major bitching has been wiped away but little tangents remain but the issue is so miniscule surely they will forget it soon enough. My friends are still the same amount of crazy, my parents are still neurotic and I'm getting along with fun new people. A three hour long convo on a crowded bus sure helped that. Its fun associating with people who have little in common with you. Your able to discuss shit more then just the average banter with friends which can grow tiresome but is still good to have. Im sure the only person who will ever read this blog is Austen (and possibly Jimmy Czech) so yeah. This is almost like a diary entry. Lol. I still like ranting about shit (especially stupid promiscuius wantons blaming footy players for their attractiveness) but it's good to talk about shit as well. Im over the downness I was feeling the last while, getting so angry at home all the time. Hopefully that was just my time of the year. Male PMS perhaps. Haha. Eh, I guess I dont want to trouble my folks with self styled FML type rants and raves. I dont want to wind up like some awful Dr Phil story where my folks want me dead. Nahh, they wouldnt (or would they). Im just glad to see that even when people are in downhill slopes (especially in bad choices theyre making with their lives which will see them so badly depressed and in debt hint hint) that there is light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. We are only here for 70 years man. If you want to complain, do so. If you dont, dont. Either way, in the words of good old George Carlin. "Enjoy the ride, there is no return ticket".

Things My Demented Mind Has Been Thinking Bout Recently

Yes, ban and burn the burqua. That piece of chauvinsictic religious torture should be goddam outlawed.

All human beings have the ability to want the world to play a small violin for them, its a choice whether to complain enough so you can make it happen.

Greece is fucked. The situation in Greece is one step away from civil war.

My history teacher finally agreed with one my socio-politcal rants in class. Im so proud.

Which celebrities are going to the Gulf of Mexico?

When is The Rum Diary movie being released?
